The URAL driving trainer is designed for teaching practical driving and for improving the driving skills of truck drivers. The training methodology corresponds to the driver training program for categories “C” and “C1” with the requirements of the driving course and the driver training program. The trainer simulates working conditions in various road and weather conditions, reproduces the visual and sound environment, and also the dynamic loads on the trainee corresponding to the current position of the vehicle's controls.
The trainer makes it possible to practice all stages of vehicle operation: from basic skills of working with the controls to complex maneuvers in extreme conditions. It provides training in starting and stopping the engine, pulling away, gear shifting, various types of braking, reversing, and overcoming various types of terrain (mountain, lowland, desert) and obstacles. Training in urban conditions and on the highway is supported in various visibility conditions (day/night/twilight) and in any weather (rain, snow, ice). A dynamic platform accurately conveys the behavior of the vehicle during acceleration, braking and overcoming bumps.
The complex is distinguished by a high degree of realism thanks to the accurate reproduction of the URAL cab and the physics of vehicle motion. The automated monitoring system records all actions of the trainee, identifies errors and produces an objective assessment of skills in accordance with the requirements of the Driving Course. The trainer is recommended for use in law enforcement agencies, specialized educational institutions and driver training centers, ensuring safe and effective training without the risk of damaging real equipment.
The trainer includes: the instructor's workstation with a hardware and software complex and video monitors, a full-size cab with a control compartment, a 3-degree dynamic platform, a full set of operating documentation, spare parts and transport packaging for transporting the equipment. The class instructor is able to: monitor the actions of trainees in real time through the video monitoring system; set various driving condition parameters (terrain type, time of day, weather conditions); analyze the performance of exercises; automatically generate reports and archive training results. All trainer components are supplied ready for use and can be quickly deployed in a classroom. The complex significantly reduces driver training costs by minimizing the use of real vehicles and fuel.
