The Cobra II (Otokar Cobra II) armored vehicle trainer is designed to teach crews to operate the control system and to operate a combat vehicle. It simulates real driving and combat conditions, allowing the crew to develop armored vehicle handling skills in various scenarios, including difficult tactical situations.
The system provides: realistic driving over various types of terrain (asphalt, dirt, off-road) taking into account the physical parameters of the vehicle; training in difficult weather conditions (rain, snow, fog); practicing tactical maneuvering and emergency actions. Special attention is paid to modeling emergency situations: system failures, fires, shelling, the need for evacuation. The trainer includes interactive combat scenarios with the possibility of using protection systems and radio communication. A dynamic platform accurately conveys the behavior of the vehicle during various maneuvers and external influences.
The complex is distinguished by a high degree of realism thanks to: accurate reproduction of the crew workstations; a physically correct vehicle dynamics model; detailed visualization of the surroundings. The automatic assessment system records all actions of the trainees, identifies errors and produces recommendations for improving skills. Practicing the full operating cycle is supported, from regular driving to actions in critical situations, including providing first aid.
The package includes: the instructor's workstation with a hardware and software complex, a full-size trainer cab, a 6-degree dynamic platform, a full set of operating documentation and spare parts. The trainer makes it possible to practice both standard driving modes and actions in extreme and combat situations without risk to the crew and equipment. The trainer makes it possible to conduct: training in the use of all armored vehicle systems; crew coordination; practicing interaction with other units. The built-in documentation system saves the results of all training sessions for subsequent analysis. All components are supplied ready for use and can be quickly deployed in a classroom.
