AES Machinery Engineering Group has presented an integrated artillery trainer, the first simulation complex of its kind in Kazakhstan for training the personnel of artillery units.
The trainer teaches fire control, reconnaissance, adjustment and interaction within a single information space. All elements of an artillery battalion take part in the training: the class leader, the battalion commander, the chief of staff, the head of reconnaissance, battery commanders, senior battery officers, the RPS post and the UAV operator.

The class leader selects the terrain (mountain, sea, desert or intersected) and sets the weather conditions: wind direction and speed, pressure, season and visibility. Trainees have five display modes: compass view, third-person view, shell camera, top-down view of the target and an overview camera.

The instructor workstation includes four monitors, a system unit with software, a laser printer and an uninterruptible power supply. After the training, reports are generated and printed: reports on completed tasks, general training statistics and statistics on the operation of the complex.
The complex is safe for personnel and reduces training and ammunition costs.
