The UAZ “Patriot” driving trainer is designed for training and practice of drivers on the UAZ “Patriot” vehicle in classroom conditions, with the aim of developing and maintaining stable driving skills in various situations.
The trainer makes it possible to practice all stages of driving: from preparing to start the engine and setting off to complex maneuvers in urban conditions and on rough terrain. It provides training in working with the controls, instruments and systems of the vehicle, including pulling away, gear shifting, turns, U-turns and reversing. Training is supported in various conditions: day/night, winter/summer, paved and dirt roads, off-road, ice and limited visibility. A dynamic platform realistically conveys the behavior of the vehicle during acceleration, braking, overcoming obstacles and driving over difficult terrain.
The trainer is distinguished by a high degree of realism thanks to the accurate reproduction of the UAZ “Patriot” cab and the physics of motion. The automated assessment system records driver errors, analyzes driving technique and produces recommendations for improving skills. Practicing exercises in accordance with the Driving Course is supported, including parking, emergency braking and maneuvering in confined spaces. All scenarios are adapted to different levels of training, from beginners to experienced drivers.
The complex is ready for immediate use and does not require special preparation of the room. The class instructor can monitor the training process, change training parameters (road surface type, weather conditions) and review errors using a recording of the trainee's actions. The trainer effectively reduces driver training time, minimizes risks when training on a real vehicle and reduces equipment operating costs.
