The LISP complex is designed to train units in actions in various types of two-sided combat at battalion level in conditions as close to combat as possible, to improve the combat training of military personnel and units, and to assess the level of preparedness of individual military personnel and units by conducting two-sided tactical exercises (sessions) with motorized rifle, air assault and reconnaissance units in urban conditions and in the field.
The system makes it possible to conduct full-scale tactical exercises with modeling of the actions of one's own forces and of the enemy of various composition. It gives commanders the ability to organize combat and to control fire and units. Units are able to conduct reconnaissance, target designation and firing from standard weapons with laser simulators. The complex records and evaluates the actions of all participants in real time with display on an electronic map and in 3D format, and supports continuous communication between the command and the trainees. Technical equipment includes: a color A3 multifunction printer, an A0 plotter, DGPS/GPS/GLONASS satellite navigation systems, communication and switching equipment.
The complex ensures combat training conditions as close to real as possible thanks to: accurate modeling of the tactical situation; use of laser simulators of standard weapons; consideration of weather factors and time of day; objective assessment of the actions of each military serviceman. The automated data collection and processing system makes it possible to analyze exercise results, identify errors and improve training methods. The mobile design based on KAMAZ vehicles and trailers with KUNG shelter bodies ensures rapid deployment in the field.
The complex includes: a command post based on the KAMAZ-43114 with a KUNG shelter body, a local Wi-Max wireless network, a DGPS positioning system, automated workstations for instructors, a company laser fire simulation kit (80 AK-74 simulators, 10 RPK-74, 10 PKM, 10 SVD, 480 grenade simulators), and also a mobile maintenance complex. The complex includes a full set of maintenance equipment: 4 technician workstations, alignment equipment, chargers, and devices for determining the status of trainees and equipment. The system archives all exercise results, making it possible to conduct a detailed review of the actions of units and individual military personnel. Work with various types of cartographic data and three-dimensional visualization of the tactical situation is supported. All components of the complex are supplied ready for use and make it possible to conduct exercises without using live cartridges and shells.
