The MBT-2000 crew integrated trainer is designed for joint training and practice of tank crews (commander, gunner, driver-mechanic) with the aim of developing and consolidating skills in target reconnaissance and firing the MBT 2000 tank weapon system with all types of ammunition, including the guided projectile, in main and emergency modes, by day and night, by all methods, at ground targets and hovering helicopters. It makes it possible to conduct crew coordination without expending engine life, fuel and lubricants, and ammunition.
The trainer provides studying the placement of the controls and main equipment and the operating procedure of the systems of the driver's compartment and fighting compartment of the MBT-2000. It develops skills in battlefield reconnaissance, detection and identification of targets, firing the 125 mm gun (fragmentation, armor-piercing, sub-caliber and guided projectiles) and the 7.62 mm machine gun at moving, stationary and pop-up targets at ranges of up to 4,000 m (for the gun) and 2,000 m (for the machine guns). It simulates various conditions: types of terrain (moderately rough, desert, mountain, swampy), time of day (day/night), season (summer/winter).
The trainer provides complete simulation of the crew's combat work with accurate reproduction of the weapon characteristics and tank dynamics. The instructor can control all aspects of training: preparing the weapon for firing, ammunition expenditure, shooting results, exercise completion time. It is possible to set various meteorological and ballistic conditions, two-way communication with the crew, automated generation of grades and reports (including summary sheets for the training day and month), and documentation and archiving of results.
Trainer composition: the instructor's workstation (includes a unified desk, trainer on/off console, uninterruptible power supply unit, hardware and software complex, 6 video monitors, cable set), a driver's compartment simulator, a fighting compartment simulator, operating documents (set), spare parts (set), transport packaging (set). The system provides continuous monitoring of trainees' actions through monitoring of the field of view of observation devices, the state of the controls, the number of shots fired and targets hit. Autonomous start and stop of the stopwatch is supported. All elements of the trainer (workstations, simulators, documentation) are supplied as a set ready for use.
