BTR-80 Full Flight Simulator

BTR-80 Full Flight Simulator is designed for single and joint training of armoured personnel carriers crews (commanders, machine gunners, driver-mechanics) in order to form and consolidate the skills of trainees in target reconnaissance, firing from the BTR-80armament with all types of ammunition, mainly in emergency modes, day and night, at ground and air targets. It allows carrying out the crew shakeup without consumption of motor operating time, fuel and lubricants, and ammunition.

Simulator capabilities:

  • studying the location of controls and main equipment
  • functioning procedure, use of controls and indication means of the driving and fighting compartments of the BTR-80
  • Development of skills of the commander and the gunner to make reconnaissance of “battlefield” using optical observation and sighting device
  • Development of skills of the BTR-80 gunnerin detection and identification of targets, firing fromVladimirov’s tank large-calibre machine gunand Kalashnikov machine gunat moving, stationary and emerging targets from the ground and on the move in day and night conditions, in different terrain in the volume of the Firing Course

  • objective and subjective control over the actions of trainees in the course of solution of fire tasks.
  • generation of evaluation for the exercise in accordance with the requirements of the Firing Course and printing the evaluation on the task of direction and speed of target movement
